I really need a new laptop, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

The laptop that I have now is almost 4 years old and after 30 minutes of usage it heats up too hot and the fan starts running. This annoys the
heck out of me.

It also disconnects from the internet off and on unexceptionably.

I'm looking for one that at least has a 15 inch screen and great battery life.

Any suggestions? I don't prefer any kind over any other.

I do however have a PC right now.

Macbook Pro. Don't buy the Air. Just don't. (It heats up too.)

I remember talking to Alexis on MSN a bit back about playing L4D2 together, and how my old laptop would get so hot, and she told me how great her Macbook Pro was running it.

Peach probably has an opinion on this, I think she said that she used a Mac as well.

I was leaning towards the Pro.

Austin - the Macbook Pro is incredible. Mine is one of the slightly older models and it stills runs better than my partner's desktop PC.

I hate Apple as a company - but I only have good things to say about the MBP

Sadly, it will be a while.

Probably the by the end of the year, I plan on spending my GPTHQ earnings on it.

It will take a long time earn that much, but I think it's possible.
